READING THE BIBLE every day. To be successful in your walk with God and in life, in general, you must know the Word of God. Get a copy of a complete Bible if you do not have one.

Start reading it from the book of John; then read Matthew, Mark, Luke, and read through the rest of the books of the New Testament. Afterwards, begin from Genesis the first book of the Bible, and read through the entire Bible.

As you read, read it with absolute concentration. Read it when you are wide-awake, and your mind is relaxed. Make notes out of all you learn while reading the Bible. At the end of each reading, pray the lessons learnt into you (you must have written down your lessons in a strong notebook while reading).

Read your Bible in the morning, in the afternoon and at night. Make it a point of (holy) duty to read through the Bible, at least, once in a year. As you grow in Christ, you can develop a Bible reading plan that best suits you. For now, if you can lay your hands on a complete Bible study plan that runs through the year, it will help you. Deep meditation on God’s Word keeps the Word of God richly and profitably in your spirit.

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; …” (Colossians 3:16 KJV)

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15KJV)
