He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. (1 John 2:6 KJV)

God has a definite course for every believer. He does not intend for the believer to stagger at trying to find out how to live all by himself so He has in place a blueprint for leading Kingdom life (Genesis 3:15).

The blueprint of God for the believer’s life stems from the requirements for pleasing God in our daily walk with Him and the requirements for spending eternity with Him – in heaven (1John 3:3).

God does not intend for the believer to fashion his life after the dictates of the world or the dissenting opinions of people on social media (John 2:15-17, James 4:4).

The believer is called to look to Jesus – the Chief Shepherd, for how to live (1Peter 5:4).

The end is near. Death is inevitably near also. You should make that decision to follow Christ and not the opinions of others, including the extra-Biblical opinions of your pastor and other believers on salient issues of eternal concern. Search the scriptures for yourself. Get into a close relationship with the Shepherd and Bishop of your soul – Jesus, (1Peter 2:25) to learn how to please Him in your daily walk. You (alone) will bear the consequences of your life’s decisions or choices in eternity. So, it is wise to get more serious about how you live. Don’t allow any respected ‘man of God’, brother, sister, or social media influencer to make you comfortable with living in sin or rebelling against God or His Word (Revelation 22:15).

Walk uprightly. Walk with Christ. Walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called. Demonstrate to God that you are worthy of His calling (Psalm 15:2, 1Thessalonians 2:12, Ephesians 4:1)
